They are not made official members of the Hall of Fame but get a permanent place in the National Baseball Museum as an exhibit. In the same event the Ford C. Frick Award is also handed over to the broadcasters with an excellent track record when it comes to broadcasting baseball. The recipients do not get a permanent place in the Hall of Fame but just like the writers they are also paid homage in the form of a permanent exhibit at the museum. The Parade of Legends follows the Awards Presentation at where the legends ride in vehicles provide by Ford as they make their way to a reception held in their honor at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

The newest members to join the prestigious club are honored and inducted into the Hall of Fame at a lavish ceremony held at the Clark Sports Center which itself is a stunning amphitheater.
