Assuming the position of head-coach in 1997, Bonneau has extensively trained, and constantly developed his team to the point where now, they have become a contender for the College World Series. 2003 marked the first time ACW entered the Division II World Series after their win at the regional level. Since then, the wildcats have won one NCAA Division I title and two, Division II World Series.

The Arizona Wildcats (AW) are currently ranked seventh in terms of numbers of wins at the national level. With four Division I national titles and a long list of amazing players, the AW are considered to be a shoo-in for the College World Series this season. Producing all-time superstars like Brian Anderson, Kenny Lofton, Jerry Kindall and Chip Hale, the Wildcats are truly in a league of their own in terms of their skill, determination and their motivation. A part of the Pacific-12 Conference, the Wildcats have won the World Series four times in  1976, 1980, 1986 and 2012. Their Head Coach for the season, Andy Lopez, has made sure that the squad is well prepared and high in morale. With his thirteenth year as head coach underway, Lopez is determined to return the Wildcats to their place at the top.
