Kevin and Cindy Spencer have been astounding people all around the world for over a decade and have built up a huge fan following as a result. Kevin was initially pursuing a career in clinical psychology and hoped to help people with their mental and emotional problems. However, he decided somewhere along the way that he'd be more effective in bringing joy and merriment to all by messing with people's minds, albeit in a good way. Hence, he and Cindy designed the theater of Illusion show as a series of performances that were not intended to fool the audiences but have them leave the theater with a sense of bewilderment and wonder.
 
Over the years, Kevin and Cindy Spencer have crafted the Theatre of Illusion into a unique staged spectacle. They have brought Broadway styled theatrical elements and rock concert styled lighting into their magical performances. The Spencers and their assistants are not just consummate professionals in the technical aspects of their shows but bring in a lot of facial expressions and drama to the whole shebang.  Whether it's Kevin or Cindy that's entering or exiting a box or casket with all sorts of knives, blades and spikes sticking out from either end; either one of them will be in character throughout the act, adding to the mystery and allure of the performance.  
 
The planning for a typical Theatre of Illusion show is like that of movie set that has to have a whole lot of special effects thrown in the works. However, unlike a Hollywood action flick, there is no option of editing things out and touching up stuff back in the studio and there is only one take, that too in front of a live audience.
 
The entire show lasts for some two hours and it feels like a non-stop ride into uncharted territory in a land of make-believe, where anything and everything seems possible. Be it levitation, dismemberment and putting everything back together again; all of it happens in the blink of an eye. Yet this is the result of working tirelessly with leading inventors, designers, creators and builders and then practicing the routines endlessly until achieving perfection.
