Neil deGrasse Tyson is the winner of 2014 Critics' Choice Television Award for "Best Reality Show Host." He is known as an American author, astrophysicist and science communicator. Presently he manages the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space. He also contributes to the American Museum of Natural History in the position of a research associate at the department of astrophysics. During the period 2006-2011, Neil was popularly known as the host of PBS's "NOVA ScienceNow,"an educational science television show. He has been frequently making guest appearances on Real Time with Bill Maher, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and more. Since 2009, Neil has been hosting "StarTalk," a weekly radio show. Starting in 2006, Neil hosted the PBS-NOVA's spinoff program "NOVA ScienceNOW" for five seasons.
