For the past four decades, Southern rock band, The Outlaws has celebrated success and has also gone through several tragedies. However all this time, it has remained as one of the top selling and most influential groups of the genre. After a long break, The Outlaws now return to the music scene with new music. The band will be performing at various venues across the country during its upcoming tour, which includes the famed Rialto Theatre. The band will bring songs from all of its hit albums, including work from the latest release to entertain the crowd. The Outlaws tickets are selling fast.
Formed in 1967, the Outlaws are known for the hits such as "Green Grass and High Tides" and "There Goes Another Love Song". The latter reached at number thirty four on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The current members of the band include Monte Yoho, Steve Grisham, Henry Paul, Randy Threet, Dave Robbins and Chris Anderson. Although Outlaws is a southern rock band, yet there are some differences in its influences and approach. The ensemble's guitar sound is one of the main features of Outlaws' music and for that reason; it has been called 'The Florida Guitar Army' by the fans.
The band's diverse representation of genres and their music style are best showcased in the albums released between 1975 and '80. The group came up with its self-titled debut album in 1975, featuring songs like "Song for You", "Waterhole" and "Keep Prayin". Besides these full length albums, The Outlaws have also released three live records and three compilations. To date, the band has released eight studio albums, and It's About Pride is the latest one. The album opens with the sizzling, "Tomorrow's Another Night". Other songs include "Hidin' Out In Tennessee", "Last Ghost Town" and "Born To Be Bad". The upcoming tour is mainly set to support this album and the shows will include most material from it.
The Outlaws have been touring as a band as well as with other artists of the non-southern rock genre since the beginning. In 2010, the group was featured along with Blackberry Smoke, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Chris Hicks Band and Molly Hatchet on stage at Long Island Southern Jam in Babylon, NY. The Outlaws gained a formidable reputation as a fantastic live act, touring heavily with artists like The Allman Brothers, The Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eagles, The Rolling Stones and The Who.
Along with Yoho and Paul, The Outlaws also feature many of the most respected veterans of Southern rock, including lead guitarist Chris Anderson. Besides collaborating with other artists, Outlaws' member, Randy Threet has also performed with Trisha Yearwood, Blackhawk and Pam Tillis. He is also familiar to television audiences from the Nashville Star. The Outlaws has been critically acclaimed for its hot live performances and Huffington Post's journalist, Bill Robinson stated that, "The Outlaws helped define Southern Rock for me and for generations of fans." Seeing them performing live is one of the best experiences that southern rock fans can have.
Currently on their tour, The Outlaws are once again ready to capture the fans hearts across the nation. For the group, it is all about music and it has always been. The members are enthusiastic more than ever to perform live and are ready to put on a wonderful show. Outlaws tickets are selling fast as it is expected to be a sold out show. Watching this outstanding Southern Rock band live is going to be an experience to remember.
