In late February, 2020, Santana announced 'The Miraculous Supernatural 2020 Tour' with none other than Earth, Wind & Fire. This is the first time two acts will hit the road together. Santana had this to say about touring with the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, "It is a great joy and honor to co-share music with the magnificent elements of Earth, Wind & Fire." In response to Santana's statement, Earth, Wind and Fire stated "We are excited to rock the USA alongside our friend Carlos Santana and his band."

The Legacy of Maurice White Lives On

The leader of Earth, Wind & Fire, Maurice White helped the band achieve great popularity and success. It would not be wrong to say that he is responsible for elevating the group's career to insurmountable heights, making them a major source of inspiration for multiple artists like Prince and Red Hot Chili Peppers. In 2016, he passed away due to Parkinson's disease.

Philip Bailey has now taken White's place as the group's lead singer. During a recent interview with Fox News, he stated, "Maurice's spirit always resonates with every song we sing, with every note we play - there's no way that these things happen without his DNA. So, he's very much still alive and living in our music and his legacy."

Earth, Wind & Fire Drops a Hint About Duets Album

On December 08, 2019, Earth Wind and Fire entered the Kennedy Center Honors, making them the first African American group to accept this honor. The group's members Philip Bailey, Verdine White and Ralph Johnson attended the event. During the show, Bailey was interviewed by Billboard during which he hinted towards a duets album and stated, "We're making a list, and checking it twice. You'll hear about it soon."

The band has been enshrined into the NAACP Image Award Hall of Fame and Vocal Group Hall of Fame. They have also sold more than ninety million records worldwide.
