Details of Veld Music Festival Toronto and the Ticket Luck value
Ink Entertainment is back with their third annual Veld Music Festival and the excitement for this event is palpable as social media is bombarded with details that will be happening at this two-day joyride.
The Veld Music Festival is going to be held at Downsview Park in Toronto on August 2 and 3 and is Canada's biggest electronic music festival. It is one of the highlights of this summer as summer anthems seem to largely hail from that genre nowadays. The event's first edition was in 2012, headed by Deadmau5 and Avicii - who recently gained a lot of fame for his hugely successful track 'Wake Me Up' - followed up by the second edition in 2013.
Some of the biggest names from the electronic music and dance music genres will be playing and performing at Veld. The lineup for this year was made public through various social media websites and the Festival is enjoying quite a lot of exposure. The music festival spans over two days. On the first day of this year's festival, the line-up consists of Armin Van Buuren, Ingrosso, Nero, Bingo Players, Dannic, W&W, Oliver Heldens, Nom de Strip and Mark Oliver. These artists will be taking the Veld stage. Bacardi is a sponsor of the festival and will have Waka Flocka Flame, Caked Up, Overwerk, Brillz, Sliink, Hatras and Flipside performing on the first day. The event runs for exactly twenty-four hours on each day and is sure to provide music that will shake you to the core.
Veld is surely one of the biggest electronic festivals with all the acts coming from various parts of the world, uniting at one platform. Van Buuren is a Dutch music producer and DJ, Ingrosso hails from Sweden and is also part of Swedish House Mafia and Nero is from the United Kingdom. Nero is also a Grammy winning artist and is known for making a collaborative remix with Skrillex on the track 'Promises.' Caked Up has gained a lot of following with their tracks on SoundCloud and even Vine, and is hugely popular for their knack of turning any track into one dripping with beats. Their remix of Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' is quite popular, making them almost a part of pop culture nowadays.
On the second day, possibly the most exciting part of the lineup is Calvin Harris who has been on the radio, one way or another, for the last two years. Most recently, his track 'Summer' has rounded up quite a lot of listens. It debuted at the number one spot on the UK Singles and Dance Charts and Harris' signature bass drops and synth hooks did not fail to impress. The single also landed at the number nine spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the US Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Harris holds the record for having the most hits from a single album to land in the top ten on the UK Singles Chart. It's no secret that Calvin Harris is one of the biggest attractions at this event and is reason enough on his own to attend the Veld Music Festival. Australian dance music duo Knife Party will also hit the stage with Zedd. Zedd's been on the charts for his radio-hit collaboration with Paramore front-woman Hayley Williams, on the track 'Stay the Night' and his performance with Knife Party should be a winner.
Among others, joining the stage will be eighteen-year old Martin Garrix who rose to the top with his track 'Animals'. Tommy Trash is another renowned music producer and was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Remixed Recording category.
Another very exciting artist that Veld has in the pipes for the festival is the one and only Iggy Azalea. The 'Fancy' singer will be performing at Veld as one of the stops on her tour, for her album The New Classic. Veld Music Festival Toronto tickets are now available for all those electronic genre fanatics, and all those who love to dance. The line-up is as good as it can get, with all your favorite radio-hits and all the artists off of your SoundCloud profiles, so make sure to check it out.
