On TV, Shawn appeared as DJ SW-1 on In Living Color, working as a featured performer alongside other members of his family including sister Kim and brothers Dwayne, Damon, Marlon and Keenen, the show's creator.
The brothers have also starred in movies like Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Hangin' with Mr Cooper, the TV series MacGyver, and others. The brothers have been a part of various other productions. In 2004, they starred in White Chicks.
