Ab-Soul is a rapper and hip-hop music recording artist from California and is best recognized as super group Black Hippy's member. Ab-Soul has come up with two independent records Control System and Longterm Mentality. Both the albums received moderate success. Ab-Soul cited American rappers such as Eminem, Canibus, Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco and Twista as his major influences. His music lyrics are frequently socially conscious, introspective and politically charged. This is what has made him a distinctive rapper. Our next headliner Joey Badass hailed from the streets in Brooklyn and is now one of the frequent acts in the tour.. He went solo in 2012 and came up with his debut mix tape called "1999." It received a lot of critical recognition and acclaim. Complex Magazine called it as the thirty eighth best album of 2012. In 2013, Joey came up with another mix tape, Summer Knights featuring songs like "Sweet Dreams" and "Amethyst Rockstar." Music critics gave positive reviews to the album. Joey is currently working on his full-length studio album whose glimpse he will be displaying on stage during the fest.
