Other notable works by the band include Dark Was the Night which was produced by Bryce Dessner and Aaron. High Violet was released in 2010 and topped the popular music charts in the U.S, Canada, UK as well as Portugal. It sold more than 285,000 copies in the country and 600,000 copies across the globe.
The National have performed at several festivals in support of their albums. These include Electric, Sziget Festival, St. Gallen Open Air Festival, Rock Werchter Festival, Skanderborg Festival, The Boston Calling Music Festival and more.
