Donna Huber started to hear compliments regarding her striking resemblance with Shania Twain when she lived with her sister Shelly in Sudbury. She started to practice Twain's songs, watched her videos, paid attention to her posture, her moves and the way she carried and presented herself. She was terrified but she knew she had to try and start from somewhere. Given her zeal to achieve her dream, the agent friend agreed to listen to what she had to present. After hearing Huber sing he instantly agreed that they could move forward with this material. They worked on putting together a band and practiced for a few months. After struggling through her initial years, this devoted artist is now six and a half years down the road and has established herself as one of the most successful tribute acts in Canada.

 Huber has had the privilege to meet Shania Twain and her family in person. Twain has praised Huber's work and complimented her by mentioning Huber in her biography.
