Details of Royal Blood and the Ticket Luck value
Rock music duo, Royal Blood have enjoyed a swift rise to the top in the last twelve months. They're not only among the most talked about bands in Britain but have also been called a breakout act in the rock genre. The duo of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher exploded the music scene with the release of their debut single Out of the Black. The song topped the UK Rock charts and in the US reached number three position on the Mainstream Rock chart. Getting a start that most newcomers dream of, Royal Blood have already toured with Arctic Monkey and Pixies, and have concerts lined up with the Foo Fighters. Kerr and Thatcher are thrilled with the opportunity, and have called it a “pinch me” moment. Besides their shows with the American rock quintet, the duo will also be hitting the road in 2015 for their solo tour. Royal Blood tickets are already enjoying massive sales.
Last few years have witnessed a revival in UK's rock and grunge music scene. Young bands like Wolf Alice, Darlia and Marmozets have emerged, and at the forefront of them all is Royal Blood. Although the band has drawn comparison from the blues-rock ensembles like the Black Keys, White Stripes and Two Gallants, they have presented their unique array of rock textures. Comprising bassist/vocalist Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher, the two-piece started their music journey in 2013 with live shows. Constrained to only two instruments, Royal Blood made their presence known with distorted bass guitar and pounding drums. The blend of melodic intensity and Kerr's poignant vocals took the rock music fans by storm. Their astounding music and popularity started to spread like fire and BBC placed them on its Sound of 2014 list. They further gained fame when Matt Helders of Arctic Monkeys wore a T-shirt with Royal Blood's name on it during their 2013 headlining performance in Glastonbury. The band also invited the duo to open their Finsbury Park concerts.
After a year of recording music, in 2013 Royal Blood treated the fans with their first track, “Out of the Black”. Its success earned them a deal with Warner Bros. the same year and in 2014, they released their second song, “Little Monster”. Four songs EP followed and in August 2014, their debut self-titled album hit the shelves. According to the reviews, “it is drum-and-bass like you've never heard it”. Topping the UK charts, it has made it to number two spot on the Billboard Alternative Albums. While the powerful riffs of Out of the Black and Little Monster create an immediate impact, it's the dynamics and clever melody of Ten Tonne Skeleton and You Can Be So Cruel that hold the listener's attention.
Despite being new in the industry, Royal Blood have already established themselves as superb live performers. Their live shows have been called intense as they manage to create an ambiance that's both seductive and dark. With the very first song, Thatcher and Kerr bring energy into the arena and heavy drumming and guitar riffs create electrifying soundwaves. You can now experience all this and more by attending their upcoming live concerts. All you need are Royal Blood tickets, but buy them soon as they are selling out fast.
