With four albums under his belt, Post Malone is a rising superstar credited for composing unique music. Exposed to a variety of musical styles, his experience prompted him to create a niche that’s solely his. Post Malone’s music can’t be confined to any one genre and he continues to treat the listeners to an amalgamation that includes hip-hop, country, grunge, and cloud rap. In June 2022, Malone released his fourth album “Twelve Carat Toothache” and it topped the Billboard Hip-Hop charts. Along with the release of the album, the New Yorker also announced North American tour that officially kicked off on September 10, 2022 from Omaha. Performances are scheduled till November 2022 and Post Malone tickets are available for his highly anticipated concerts in Portland, Vancouver, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, among others.
Rise to Fame & Popularity
In just five years, Post Malone became a versatile artist topping the streaming charts. Starting off as an R&B singer, Malone didn’t confine himself to the genre and continued to experiment with different styles. According to the music gurus, his music is described as a “melting pot of grunge, country, hip-hop, and R&B”. His back phrasing and laconic vocal style is laced with introspective songwriting and heartfelt words. Toeing a line between rapping and singing, Post Malone has developed a style that can’t be called crossover but simply ‘Post Malone’. The niche he has created is uniquely his and became one of the main reasons for his instant success.
Post Malone Modern Day’s Success Story
Besides creating astounding new music, Malone also put his career in fast gear by hitting the road alongside big names. He took advantage of his popularity as many artists like Justin Bieber roped him in as the opening act for their tours. Early in his career, Post Malone got the opportunity to work with some of the superstars like 50 Cent, Kanye West, and Young Thug. He hit jackpot with his very first album “Stoney” in 2016 as it topped the Billboard Hip-Hop charts and was praised for having catchy hooks and strong vocals. “Beerbongs & Bentleys” followed in 2018 and it was a successive number hit album by the rapper. It featured collaboration by 21 Savage, Ty Dolla Sign, Swae Lee, and Nicki Minaj. The album was also nominated for a Grammy Award and spawned chartbusters like “Paranoid”, “Rockstar”, “Psycho”, and “Ball For Me”. In September 2019, “Hollywood’s Bleeding” hit the shelves and it was a hattrick by the star as it too topped the Billboard Hip-Hop charts. He once again received a Grammy nod and was lauded for seamlessly transitioning between genres. The 17-track album beautifully blended genres and elevated him to the status of pop-savvy hitmaker. Yet again, the best of the best in R&B and hip-hop joined forces with him, including Future, Lil Baby, Halsey, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and DaBaby.
Post Malone Takes a Step Up With New Album
After a gap of three years, Post Malone released his fourth album “Twelve Carat Toothache” in June 2022. Fourth hit in a row, it dominated the Billboard Hip-Hop charts and soared as a polished and refined effort, driven by the brightest sounds. According to the critics, it pushed Post Malone to the status of king of new-era pop. Malone teamed up with Doja Cat on the track “I Like You (A Happier Song)” and “One Right Now” featured the Weeknd. Roddy Ricch and Malone joined forces for the song “Cooped Up” and the pop-rock song topped the Rhythmic charts. Proving himself to be an entertainer, Post Malone presented a collection that’s being thoroughly enjoyed by his fans.
