When Misfits took its second hiatus in 2000, Michael and Dr. CHUD formed a duo and named it the Lost Boys. The solo career of the artist started in 2005 when he released "Punk Rock is Dead". The horror punk, heavy metal album included two special addition tracks, I don't wanna be (a superhero) and Headwound. The album debuted as a chart topper and established Michael as a legit solo rock and punk music act. In his solo career spanning almost a decade now, Michael has released sixteen studio albums. The latest addition in his repertoire is titled "Wanderer1", and is scheduled to be released this year. In his upcoming performances he is expected to feature songs from this album as well.
