Meghan's second debut single “Lips Are Moving”was commissioned by Hewlett Packard and Meghan was selected to be a part of an HP Pavilion products promotional campaign. “Lips Are Moving” also rose to the top five on the Hot 100 chart and became a popular hit in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Meghan Trainor has also performed cover versions of popular hits of other singers like Sam Smith's “Stay with Me”, Justin Bieber's “Mistletoe” and Taylor Swift's “Shake it off”.
Meghan Trainor has been praised by her contemporaries for her astonishing success at such an early age, as well as her polished skills in songwriting and singing. She was nominated for “New Artist of the Year” at the American Music Awards 2014 and for “Best New Musician” at the NewNowNext Awards. She was also nominated for “Favorite Breakout Artist” at the People's Choice Awards 2015. “All about the Bass” was nominated for Grammy Awards for “Song of the Year” and “Record of the Year”.
