Details of Local Natives and the Ticket Luck value
The music industry identifies Local Natives as a ‘band who knows how to groove’. In just a period of five years the fame of its dreamy orchestral melodies, soaring, sky scrapping harmonies and throbbing tribal beats have crossed local boundaries and they are known internationally today. The band embarked on its first European Tour a couple of years ago and is looking forward to an unforgettable live performance in your town this year. The event schedule is available and the growing sales of Local Natives tickets have been reported.
Local Natives was formed in 2008 by three high school friends who shared a common interest in music. Its members including Taylor Rice, Ryan Hahn and Kelcey Ayer, confident not only about their guitar strumming abilities but also about handling vocal duties felt the need of a drummer and bassist and got Matt Frazier and Andy Hamm to join the band. Together, they moved to Silver Lake and began composing their dreamlike melodies. Its intricate sound system got exposed in the local festivals and earned the band an initial fan following in its first struggling year in the music industry. Local Natives came up with its debut album in 2009 titled ‘Gorilla Manor’. Since everything ranging from the songwriting to artwork comes from the band as collaboration between its members, the songs of this album were about their personal experiences and their opinion about life. As one of its members, Hahn puts it, ‘It was an incredible experience and I’ll never forget that time’. Singles such as Sun Hands and Camera Talk among a list of others attracted the attention of music press and critics which had a positive impact on the repute of the band and made its first SXSW Festival in Texas to be a success. The band drove for two days to get to the venue from Los Angeles and this performance turned out to be one of the biggest success stories of 2009. Also, the initial reviews compared the band’s music with other well known names in the industry such as, ‘Arcade Fire’, ‘Vampire Weekend’ and ‘Fleet Foxes’ and ended up in positive publicity of the band. While handling success of its debut album by conducting a number of live shows, it did not stop making new music. The audience response the band got during its concerts was taken constructively and was directed to make its second release better to meet the growing expectations of its fans.
After two years of its first album release, Local Natives has recently come up with its second studio album, ‘Hummingbird’. Critics have reviewed the music already and as per their opinion there is no new found fixation with R&B music in their melodies. Signature indie rock and indie pop tunes are still there in its songs which shows that the band is trying to make its place among the contemporaries in the music industry. Its songs that have already made a mark on the Top Music Charts include Ceilings, Colombia, Heavy Feet and others. As a whole this album is reviewed to be a thoughtful piece on part of the band and is expected to add to the popularity of Local Natives even more.
The band’s music in just a few years time has reached to a diverse set of audiences. With two studio album releases, it hasn’t experimented with the tunes as such but has successfully made its space in the music industry with the signature sound which is often described as the ‘afropop-influenced guitars with hyperactive drumming and hooky three-part harmonies’. The band is ready to entertain its fans live with all the singles that have made it to the top so far. So if you wish to listen to them live, get your Local Natives tickets right away!
