What started off as a fictional band from the 1978 film American Hot Wax is today an actual and extremely popular rock doo wop band. Founded by Kenny Vance in 1992, the band has earned itself a fan following of millions all over the world in just a few short years. Under the leadership of Kenny, the remaining five members of the band Johnny Gale, Kurt 'Freddie' Yahjian, Jimmy Bense, Chip Deggard and Tony Gallino are the soul of the band. After the band released a few more albums, namely Lover's Island, Countdown to Love, Dancing and Romancing, Oceans of Time and Mr. Santa, the holiday album was released in 2011. All of them received positive responses from the fans and from the critics as well and managed to keep the band in business.
