Jim Belushi is the jack of all trades when it comes to performing and television. From a standup comedian, to a blues singer, Belushi has shown his different talents in his long career. Jim Belushi a native of Chicago Illinois, went to Southern Illinois University and graduated with a degree in Speech, Education and Theatre. Following his passion for action, in 1979 Belushi went to Hollywood to earn a name for himself. His first assignment was a role in the television series, "Who's Watching the Kids". Although it didn't get Belushi very famous, he did his role well enough to land a spot in "Working Stiffs", starring alongside Michael Keaton. If there were any doubts about his acting, he certainly quelled them all as his Hollywood career took off after this signing. Equally at ease playing intense and comic roles, Belushi has acted alongside Demi Moore in "About Last Night", with Arnold Schwarzenegger in "Red Heat" and, next to Patrick Wilson and Katherine Heigl in "North of Hell".
The Board of Comedy will feature many other names, who are also talented artists. Apart from Belushi, Larry Joe Campbell, Brad Morris, Robert Belushi and Jon Barinholtz will be the other performers. They are all alumni's of the famous Second City theatre in Chicago. Larry Campbell co-starred next to Belushi in "According to Jim". Campbell and Belushi have a very good on stage chemistry between them, having worked together for eight years. Larry has been a part of many movies since he worked with Belushi. Appearing in movies like "Hall Pass" and "Rules of Engagement", Campbell feels right at home with comic roles. His latest venture has been a role in the action film, "Pacific Rim".
Robert Belushi is the son of Jim Belushi. Having inherited his father's abilities, the junior Belushi is equally equipped with the capability to make a large room of people laugh to his funny jokes. Robert Belushi also cut his teeth in the humor genre at the Second City theatre. He went to Los Angeles, from where he acquired his university education, to work in film and television. He has appeared with his father in the TV shows "According to Jim" and "The Defenders".
Brad Morris a veteran comedian, is also an alum of the Second City theatre. A very prominent performer there, Morris went on to act in sit coms. He played roles in "Cougar Town", "Modern Family", "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "The Office". His love for making people laugh led him to make many funny videos with his friends, which can be seen on Youtube. Along with Morris, Jon Barinholtz is also a frequent face on television shows. He has acted as a guest performer in "Happy Endings" and "Perfect Couples".
