American Country Award winner Jake Owen is a famous country music artist. Having gaining meteoric fame, Jake became a star in a very short time. In 2006, Jake released his debut single, the up-tempo party anthem Yee Haw. The single reached the Billboard "Hot Country Songs Chart" and ranked at number sixteen. Later on, the track was listed as the lead-off single for his debut album titled "Startin' with Me." The song gave him his first Top Ten hit by peaking at number six after spending over thirty-five weeks on the Billboard charts. The release of the album was followed by an opportunity to open for Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
His second album "Easy Does It" was released in 2009. Debuting at number two, the album made it to the Billboard "Top Country Albums Chart." It also peaked at number thirteen on the Billboard 200. The album's lead single, Don't Think I Can't Love You reached peaked at number two on the "Hot Country Songs Chart". The single gave Owen his first Top 5 country hit.
"Barefoot Blue Jean Night" is the title of his third studio album which was released in 2011. The album was certified as gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).The album's eponymous title track charted as his first number one single on the Country Chart. The album spawned hit songs such as Anywhere with You, Alone with You, and The One That Got Away. The same year Jake toured with Keith Urban as part of his "Get Closer World Tour."
Jake Owen's latest album "Days of Gold" was released in 2013. Over the years, the talented artist has presented his fans with four studio albums, eleven singles, nine music videos and one extended play.
