The stars of the popular American hidden camera show, the Impractical Jokers, are on their way to you for a series of hilarious performances.  They call themselves The Tenderloins and they know how to pull pranks which more often than not lead to very funny consequences. It is said if laughter is contagious, they should be quarantined, because pranks before pride.

The Impractical Jokers is currently in its fourth season and has managed to attract very high ratings and praise from the critics. They also made an appearance on Conan with Conan O'Brien, in 2013, which was a great success and brought more spotlight on these four brilliant performers. The show is based on four real-life friends who dare each other to perform public pranks, stunts and dares. The fans get a taste of it all through the lens of the hidden cameras.  

James Murray, Sal Vulcano, Brian Quinn and Joe Gatto are  the four stars of the show and they are collectively known as The Tenderloins. Gatto is the most fearless of the four. He is loud and is always ready for every outrageous stunt or prank that his friends have in store for him. The rough and tough Brian "Q" Quinn will do whatever needs to be done and overcome all obstacles without giving it a second thought.

The third member is James "Murr" Murray, who is loved by a lot of people. His grins fool no one. Murray is the evil mastermind of The Tenderloins. He strategizes and works his way around every challenge in the smartest way possible. Sal is the softie among these four as he gets embarrassed and awkward easily. Sal is known for his lip balm and one-liners. He also has a list of pet peeves everyone should be aware of before coming within at least a mile of him. From rumors about Murray and stuffed animals to Q's aversion to sushi, fans enjoy picking up and gathering small hints about the four Tenderloins through their skits and jokes,.

The crew is an extremely interesting bunch of people. Fans can see how well they work together on stage as their real-life best friends' chemistry comes to the fore. The Tenderloins started up in 1999 as a live, improvisational comedy troupe. They were well versed with Charna Helpern's and Del Close's teachings when it comes to improvisational theater and that helped. Del Close is known for having coached some of the most well-known comedians. They have learned from one of the best so it is no surprise to see that The Tenderloins have made it so far so successfully.

They started up with long form improvisation in 2000 and that was followed by attempts at sketch comedy. They then went on to perform at notable venues in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and also performed at the Miami Improv Festival and the San Francisco Sketch Comedy Festival. They snagged the hundred thousand dollar prize when they won the Its Your Show competition on NBC. The Tenderloins performed their "Time Thugs" sketch and that won them the grand prize on offer.

Their television show began in 2011 and the first season was watched by more than thirty two million fans. The truTV Impractical Jokers Tour featuring The Tenderloins has now kicked off proceedings. The four real life friends will showcase what makes them tick.
