Billed as the country's biggest annual summer music festivals, Hard Summer is returning this year for another power packed dance extravaganza. Hosted by the best Electronic Dance Music (EDM) artists of the world, the grand event is set to take place at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, located next to China town, Union Station and Dodger Stadium.  Hard Summer tickets are a chance for dance enthusiasts and music fans to enjoy the smashing dance hits of their favorite musicians/singers.

The Hard Summer production was founded in the year 2007 by Gary Richards, popularly known by the name 'Destructo'.  Since the time, the magnitude and scale of the event has improved and expanded with each passing year. This year's lineup includes a variety of music artists, some of whom are quite regular Hard Summer entertainers while others are performing at the event for the first time. The list of the star studded affair carries numerous well known names like Empire of the Sun, Flying Lotus, Flu Pavilion, Julio Bashmore , Crystle Castles, Azealia Banks and Ryan Hemsworth. Other artists expected at the two day music gala are Knife Party , 2 Chainz, Justin Martin, Claude Von Stroke, Dillon Francis, Kill the Noize, RL Grime, Busy P, Baauer, Just Blaze and Mr Oizo among many others.

The popularity of the Electronic Dance Music can be particularly traced back to the era of the 1980s when it was a regular play at several warehouse parties and clubs. Hard Summer festival is a celebration of the EDM genre and its development over the course of time. It has played an imperative role in carrying forth the EDM legacy and keeping its essence intact. Hard Summer initially began as a single day event. However owing to its increasing demand and massive crowd drawing in, it was decided in 2012 to expand it into a two-day music event.

The event is held outdoors covering a huge grass area of several acres of land. A total number of four or five stages are placed at reasonable distances from each other in order to save attendees the discomfort of having to walk long miles to the stage performance of their choice. It enables them to watch which singer/musician is performing at each of the stages so that they can easily move and shift between the performances at any given moment. Large projector screens are installed providing a clear view of the stage acts as well as the festival at large. Hence even if you happen to be at the backmost sections of the crowd, you are not to worry about missing out on any part of the performance or other happenings of the affair.

Apart from comfort, special safety measures are also taken by the management and organizers. Rubber padding is laid on the ground. It provides for even surfaces which gives the crowds the complete freedom to dance and jump about in every way they desire. Each singer and musician comes up with a unique theme of their own, surprising the audience every time and keeping them engaged throughout. The outfits and colorful costumes of the performers are a treat to the eyes.
