Great Beer Festival 2024 Tickets

The Great American Beer Festival is a famous three day festival, held each year in Denver, Colorado by the Brewers Association. Attended by people from all over the US and other parts of the world, it is the one place where visitors can taste more than two thousand American beers, provided they have bought Great American Beer Festival tickets prior. More than a hundred judges are also present at the event, judging over three thousand beers from more than five hundred breweries in the US. The winning beers, in eighty plus categories, will win gold, bronze and silver medals.

The Great American Beer Festival is the biggest beer event in the US, not to mention the whole world. It was first held in 1982 and was founded by Charlie Papazian, a nuclear engineer. The first festival saw around twenty two breweries participating. Fast forward to 2009, and nearly five hundred breweries participated at the festival. It is, without question, the largest beer festival in the US. In 2011, forty nine thousand people attended the festival, as did four hundred and sixty plus breweries. More than two thousand three hundred beers were showcased at the festival, with nearly four thousand competing in the festival. Over two hundred and fifty medals were awarded at the festival, including three in the Pro-Am competition.

The 2010 Great American Beer Festival also saw as many visitors and breweries, with three thousand five hundred beers competing. Since 2006, over forty thousand people have attended the festival, a mind blowing figure, with usually over two thousand beers showcased and more than three thousand competing in various categories. Similarly, more than two hundred medals have been awarded, with three usually in the Pro-Am competition.

This year, America's greatest beer festival will play host to many breweries and events. This includes American Homebrewers Association® event, the Bookstore, the Brewers Studio Pavilion, the Beer & Food Pavilion, the Brewpub Pavilion, the Designated Driver Lounge, the Homebrew Marketplace, the Farm to Table Pavilion, the Pro-Am Competition Booth, the Merchandise, Silent Disco, Sustainability Education event, Support Your Local Brewery Pavilion, and the special You Be the Judge where visitors get to judge alongside the festival's judges.

The American Homebrewers Association event will feature training on how to brew beer at home. The Beer & Food Pavilion will feature loads of food and beer, with brewers and chefs working to create the best food and beer combination, as well as demonstratons for visitors.

The Beer Enthusiast Bookstore will feature bestsellers and other books from the likes of Brewers Publications for those fond of brewing beer, drinking it or cooking with it. Right next to the merchandise booth, it is the place for publications on beer. The Brewers Studio Pavilion will play host to innovators from the brewing industry and many personalities, who will share stories and their latest brews. The hangout for the greatest brewing minds in the US, it is the place to be to learn about their innovation and the creative process behind them.

The Brewpub Pavilion will be the place to find the biggest brewpub in the US, with more than twenty four breweries at one spot. Complete with the brewpub atmosphere, it will be the place for beer enthusiasts to go for quality beer, as well as small bites and a look at images from all over the US.
