After Ezra released his maiden studio album in June 2014 in the UK, the singer received massive critical acclaim and public applause. In a month's time the album had found space at the UK Albums Chart, sitting at the third spot next only to Ed Sheeran's "x" and Sam Smith's "In the Lonely Hour". The collection stood atop the chart in 2015 after which Ezra embarked on a massive North American tour, opening for Sam Smith. The duo kicked off performances from Atlanta on January 9, hitting major cities including Nashville, Boston, New York and Toronto. The Smith-Ezra tour wrapped up in early February but this didn't seem enough for the 22-year old songster. One month later Ezra surprised North American fans after announcements of accompanying Irish indie rocker Hozier. The two took off the brief trek from Toronto in early March and rocked cities before ending it on March 14 at Nashville.

Ezra announced his first headlining North American trek to begin July 27, 2015 from Washington. The itinerary included three major festival performances namely the Lollapalooza Music Festival, the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival and the Squamish Valley Music festival. The nine-day run concluded in mid-August at Seattle and garnered a huge public response that came about as confidence builder for Ezra.
Many were disappointed at the brevity of the stint as they could not catch the up-and-comer dazzling the crowd live. Off to "Budapest"
Ezra loves to travel, as one could have easily guessed from the name of his album "Wanted on Voyage". The collection came after Ezra made a solo trip across Europe, gathering inspirations and tips for writing songs and creating music. The album, inspired by and written during a train trip, depicts Ezra's obsession with music. Ezra's smash hit single "Budapest" is named after the city he never got to visit during the trip - he was too drunk and missed the train. The song talks about what he'll give up for his love, "My house in Budapest, golden grand piano, my beautiful Castillo...".

The promising musician has proved his mettle after giving the genre songs that tugged at everybody's heartstrings. The artist stepped in the industry with an EP titled "Did You Hear the Rain?" in 2013, followed by another one called "Cassy O'" the next year. Ezra's "Budapest" charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and became his magnum opus. Gathering fame worldwide, the singer has now planned to tour three cities in South Africa.
