San Antonio Fiesta finally started when William Petmecky a Fredericksburg native helped design the very first Fiesta Flambeau. His vision and ability to craft festivals earned him the name Festival Impresario. Petmecky initiated the Easter Fires Pageant and as a part of Fredericksburg, this event was already quiet popular in and around San Antonio. Now San Antonio required an even better attraction and the king of folk festivals rightfully materialized Andricks idea and executed the very first Fiesta Flambeau. For three decades, Anricks masterfully created and arranged the Fiesta Flambeau every time making it a wonder with unexpected additions and headlining features. They key participants of this parade have remained numerous military bands, nationalism promoting floats, a Fiesta Queen, a large lot of torch bearers and millions of others who join in the parade with candles in their hands. With Anricks era of Fiesta Flambeau ending, the parade went under the shell of the Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association and hence the parade was reengineered.
 
The Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association has successfully promoted this event as a commercial success.  After Anricks the Fiesta Flambeau parade was doubted to survive as the success primarily depended on enough participation and viewership. Over time, slow and gradual additions and changes in the feature presentations and proceedings of the parade took place. The popularity also grew when the unexpected attractions came to the Fiesta Flambeau. These changes allowed for larger crowds from all over Texas to visit this event each year.  The Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association remains streamlined with Anricks vision of the parade and its execution, allowing for improvement in its scale, quality and hype each year.
