These are extremely talented and gifted musicians, just in their twenties, and have developed exceptional fan base for themselves through passion and hard work.

They kept the vibe of traditional sound alive but add modern influences like horns and electronics to create a new degree of funky and rocking Cajun music.

Feufollet is a great band of extremely talented and seasoned musicians who grew up speaking French, bopping at Cajun jam sessions as toddlers, taking music lessons from older musicians and eventually landing into the world of music with their uniquely pleasant sound. The band was formed in 1995 when Chris Stafford was eight and Chris Segura was eleven.
They started with a humble beginning and the members keep coming and going for some time. However, since 2003 the present line-up is intact quite successfully and have created a niche market with their wonderful released like Feufollet, Belle Louisiane and Tout Un Beau Soir. Their latest album is Cow Island Hop that was released by Valcour Records in the mid 2008. Currently celebrating the success of their singles like Femme L'A Dit, Cow Island Hop, and Jolie Fille,Feufollet is and very much in demand these days.
Feufollet has seen early success when they developed a following in Acadiana. They later tour the U.S. as precocious young performers where they caught the attention of music buffs with their youthful energy, musical maturity and instrumental expertise in the traditional music of the Cajun culture.
Today, they are all over the place, performing and recording and delighting audiences of all ages. Feufollet has built up a regional popularity and are on their way to become the Generation Next of traditional music as they can be seen at folk festivals and performance venues throughout the United States, France and Canada.
Chris Stafford is a master accordionist, vocalist, fiddler who is known as one of South Louisianas top musicians. This Grammy nominated guitarist is the backbone of the band. Chris Segura is a co-founder of Feufollet whose earlier musical inclination was at the age of three.
Being a regular attendee of jam sessions at legendary Cajun musician Mark Savoys record store, Segura started playing old tunes on a tiny fiddle of his own. He perfected the art after learning from master musicians like Steve Riley and won most of Louisianas fiddle contests as a youngster. For Segura, Cajun music is his first love, but his recent work has also shown his side romance with contemporary music.
Anna Laura Edmiston is the princess of the band who is blessed with a crystal-clear singing voice. She is native French speaker who grew up in Montreal and Louisiana. Having studied French Education at The University of Louisiana, Edmiston combines classical training with a precise, subtle and studied knowledge of Cajun vocal styles. However, she is fully bilingual and can bring passion and talent to the songs she sings whether in French or English.
The Faufollets guitarist Josh Caffery adds the ingredient of strong acoustic and electric lead guitar to the bands sound. The rhythm section, anchored by the youngest member of Feufollet, Michael Stafford whose furiously solid drumming work as the fuel of rhythmic engine of Feufollet.
