Espinoza Paz is a famous Mexican musician from Angostura, Sinaloa in Mexico who has been active in the Latin music industry since 2004. Espinoza Paz was born in the small and colorful town of La Angostura in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. He wrote his first song at the age of eleven, dedicated to a girl he had a crush on. By the age of thirteen, he had written twenty good songs. A few years later, he began playing the guitar after learning it on his own. In 1996, he moved to Sacramento, California where he worked picking oranges, grapes and olives while playing music. In 2006, he met Martin Fabian, a radio and music industry veteran, who helped him record his first album, titled Paz En Tu Corazon. The album was released in 2007 by Nueva Generacion Music Group. In 2008, he released a second studio album, titled Amigo Con Derechos, after which he was signed onto Universal Latino, the Latin American subsidiary of Universal Music Group. Later the same year, he released his third album and first major label studio album, El Canta Autor del Pueblo.

One of his major label debut album's songs, El Proximo Viernes, ranked fourteenth on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart, marking a rise in popularity in the US. He also began writing songs for other Mexican regional music artists, including the likes of Sergio Vega, Banda Cuisillos, La Arrolladora Banda el Limón, Julio Chaidez, Jenni Rivera, Banda de Jerez, Chuy Lizarraga, El Potro de Sinaloa, Adair Elizalde, El Chapo de Sinaloa, and Duelo.

His first album, El Canta Autor Del Pueblo ranked eleventh on the US Top Latin Albums chart and fifth on the US Regional Mexican Albums chart. It was certified platinum by the RIAA. His second album charted on the Billboard 200 as well and ranked first on both the US Top Latin Albums and US Regional Mexican Albums charts. It was also certified platinum by the RIAA. His third album ranked even higher than his second on the Billboard 200, added to second on the US Top Latin Albums chart and first on the US Regional Mexican Albums chart. It was certified gold by the RIAA, added to ranking eighteenth on the Top 100 Mexico chart.

His fourth album also charted on the Billboard 200 and ranked first on the US Top Latin Albums chart, US Regional Mexican Albums chart and the Top 100 Mexico chart. It was also certified gold.

In total, his discography is home to eleven albums, including four released in 2012; Enamorod Del Pueblo, Amigos De Epinoza Paz, Un Hombre Normal and 16 Exitos De Oro. He has also released six songs and several collaborative songs with the likes of David Bisbal, Paulina Rubio and Maria Jose. These include 24 Horas, Me Voy and Asi O Mas.
