Details of Eric Paslay and the Ticket Luck value
Eric Paslay is one of the brightest rising country music stars. With an academic background in publishing and the music business, Paslay knows how Nashville works. Before introducing himself as a singer, he wrote some of the biggest chart-topping country hits of recent years, establishing his songwriting prowess in the industry.
As Paslay kicked off his singing career, he opened up for renowned music artists such as Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Eric Church and Clint Black. Paslay released two album singles a year ahead of his self-titled debut album's release. Eric Paslay hit the stores in early 2014. Its Top 5 position on the Top Country Albums chart has helped Paslay being recognized as a groomed country singer-songwriter. He is now out on the album tour, and will visit many cities in North America.
Paslay has always had a special corner for music in his life since his early years. The country singer was born in Abilene, Texas but raised in Temple and Waco. Being born with diabetes, he wanted to grow up to be a pediatric endocrinologist to help children with diabetes. But his heart was rooted in music. His grandfather, Arnold and his brothers had a band called Arnold Schiller and the Moonlight Serenaders when he was just a baby. The band used to play at dance halls. Paslay cites his grandfather's music as the earliest songs he can remember. His first performance at the Grand Ole Opry was dedicated to Arnold.
His move to Nashville proved fruitful for Paslay as it steered him towards the music industry. At Middle Tennessee State University, he was elected as the president of the student chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International. The internship at Cal IV Entertainment helped him hone the craft of songwriting and the publishing business. In 2006, Cal IV Entertainment offered him a publishing deal which became the stepping stone for his music career as a songwriter and later on, a singer.
In his teenage, Paslay once wrote a poem for a girl which he never gave to her. He polished this poem over the years and turned into a song and that's when he realized that songs are nothing but catchy poems. Since then, Paslay started to write his own songs, completing and recording a dozen by the age of sixteen.
His songwriting is plain and personal, something which listener can connect to. Over the years, Paslay has written for many notable artists such as Donny & Marie Osmond, Lady Antebellum, Amy Grant and Jake Owens among others. Songs written by him have topped the country charts in the US. These include “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” by the Eli Young Band, “Angel Eyes” by Love and Theft and “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” by Jake Owen. He has also wrote the single “Rewind” for the Rascal Flatts and worked on the album cuts for Lady Antebellum. Amy Grant invited him to share the lead vocals with her and Sheryl Crow on the cover of Paslay's song “Deep As It Is Wide” on her album How Mercy Looks from Here.
By 2013, Paslay was receiving positive responses for his singing abilities too, after his much critically acclaimed songwriting. He decided to jump the curtain from the backstage and perform as a singer-songwriter. His efforts bore fruit when he released his self-titled debut album in early 2014.
The album debuted at number four on the Top Country Albums chart and landing a Top 40 position on the Billboard 200. The album was preceded by two singles “Never Really Wanted” and “Friday Night” that released in 2011 and 2013 respectively. The latter was a Top 5 song at the US Country Airplay and went gold by selling over five hundred thousand copies. Paslay released two follow up singles “Song About a Girl” and “She Don't Love You” later in the year.
Eric Paslay is out on his album's promotional tour and will be hitting major venues in the US including McFadden's Addison in Texas, Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Pennsylvania, Berglund Center Coliseum in Virginia and the Rave in Wisconsin and many more. Joining him on his album tour at various venues are fellow country singers such as Dierks Bentley, Hunter Hayes and Randy Houser. So grab Eric Paslay tickets and enjoy his show.
