Alex "Crankshaft" Larson discovered his love for music at a very young age. In order to get his first electric guitar and amp, Crankshaft traded an oil/wood stove to his uncle. This was followed by formation of a band named "The Mojo Spleens", which he started with his brother, in 2001. Crankshaft became a contractor in 2008. In the next two years, this talented musician released three self produced albums. In 2010, he tried out his more attention to writing and music. Since then, this brilliant artist has established himself as a traditional one-man band as well as the leader of Crankshaft and the Gear Grinders.
