A project of 'In De Goot Entertainment' the Carnival of Madness inaugurated in 2010. The first rock tour featured bands such as 10 Years, Sevendust, Puddle of Mudd, Chevelle and Shinedown. The tour hit major cities throughout the country including Kennewick, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Columbia, Virginia Beach, Knoxville, Orlando and Jacksonville amongst others. The 2010 tour saw jam-packed crowds at various venues and was a major success. Since then, the Carnival of Madness has featured highly distinguished alternative and hard rock bands over the years such as New Medicines, Cavo, Halestorm, Chevelle, Evanescence, Emphatic, Adelitas Way, Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge and Theory of a Deadman.
 
Making its way to the Carnival of Madness for the second time, the American hard rock band Shinedown is expected to enchant the audiences with its electrifying live performances. Formed in 2001, Shinedown currently comprises Eric Bass, Zach Myers, Brent Smith and Barry Kerch. The band released its debut studio album 'Leave a Whisper' in 2003. The album did well in the US and was certified platinum by the RIAA. Since then the group has released a total of four studio albums and seventeen chart breaking singles. The band's single 'Second Chance', from the album 'The Sound of Madness', topped the Hot Mainstream Rock chart, US Alternative chart as well as the Adult Top 40 chart. It was certified two times platinum in the US and gold in Australia. The band's recent studio album 'Amaryllis' was released in March 2012. The album has managed to break on several worldwide charts in UK, Switzerland, Germany, Australia as well as Canada. It has topped the US Rock Albums chart and landed at number four position on the Billboard 200.
 
On the other hand, hailing from California, the rock band Papa Roach has also released several chart topping hits over the years. Formed in 1993, the band has released two platinum albums and one gold album, selling over eighteen million records worldwide. Some of their popular hits include 'Lifeline', 'Hollywood Whore', 'Forever', 'Getting Away With Murder', 'She Loves Me Not' and 'Last Resort'. The band comprises of musicians Tony Palermo, Tobin Esperance, Jerry Horton and Jacoby Shaddix. Papa Roach has bagged numerous honors and accolades over the years including two Grammy Award nominations.
