Robert Clarke Seger was born in 1945 in Dearborn, Michigan, before his family moved to Ann Arbor when he was young. Against the Wind scooped up two Grammys, while The Distance gave him his biggest hit to date, 'Shame on the Moon' (#1). His Greatest Hits album sold ten million copies & he was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
