Leahy has collaborated and played with many great artists, including Shania Twain. Members of the band are fiddle player Donnell Leahy, piano, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, bass played and vocalist Erin Leahy, fiddle player Angus Leahy, vocalist and guitarist Maria Leahy, bassist and vocalist Siobheann Donohue nee Leahy, fiddle player Doug Leahy, vocalist Denise Leahy, drummer Frank Leahy, keyboardist, step dancer and vocalist Agnes Enright nee Leahy, vocalist Julie Leahy and keyboardist Chrissie Leahy. All are part of the Leahy family have been playing live in venues all over Canada, American and the world since the eighties.

Known also as The Leahy Family, they were the main subject of an Academy Award winning short film titled Leahy: Music Most of All. They have been recording and releasing music since the eighties and have regularly performed at festivals such as the Big Valley Jamboree. They have won many awards including the Juno Awards for the Best New Group, Best Country Group or Duo and the Best Instrumental Artist. They opened for Shania Twain during her Come on Over Tour.
