While still at college in Nebraska, she decided to become a professional singer-songwriter and moved to Nashville.  She eventually made it big there both as a country music singer and songwriter. Born in North Carolina and brought up in Texas, Megan Conner grew up rather fast, always knowing what she wanted from the very beginning. She was still very young when she took to stage performances rather naturally. A graduate of Baylor University she moved to the New York City and got into the fitness industry, work she still loves to date. She is also a certified fitness instructor, who with her natural music talent has become an integral part of the band. She loves performing for her fans, no matter how big or small the crowd is. Another member of 6 Chix is Lindsey Grant. Anna Owens is another gem of a musician who is multi-instrumentalist and has been highly influenced by musicians like Patti Griffin, Sarah McLachlan, Shawn Colvin and others. She grew up listening to bluegrass music and was only four years old when she started to learn violin. An accomplished violinist, she has released songs like "Can't Get Enough Of You", "Hansel And Gretel", "Givin' Myself To That Man", "Stupid Cupid" and others. In addition to Owens, Leah Shafer is another lead-vocalist of the band and brings with her a positive approach towards music and life.
