Founded in October 1873, Toronto Argonauts is the oldest Canadian football franchise. This professional football team currently plays in East Division of the Canadian Football League at the Rogers Center. Since the opening of the stadium in 1989, the Argonauts have played their home games there. Before that they formerly played their home games at the Exhibition Stadium from 1959 to 1988 and at the Varsity Stadium prior to 1959.
