TANGUERA is a musical comprising amatory and delightful dance steps, which reveal the story of a young French mademoiselle who has been mislead by a prostitution ring, and after running into Lorenzo, a master in Tango dancing, she falls in love with him, and life absolutely transform them.

This musical performance took place for the first time in the year 2002 and since then, it has been performed in many countries from all around the world, and has been highly acclaimed and well-applauded.

The international critics have explained TANGUERA as a tale of love and passion exposed in tango dancing. The plot of the musical revolves around a young French girl, who is deceived by a prostitution ring, and has entered at the Port of Buenos Aires in Argentina, where she came together face-to-face with a dockworker, known as Lorenzo.

Lorenzo is described in the musical as an idealist and a dreamer who has a good background in the world of tango dancing, as he has actively taken part in the origins of tango. They both dealt a bitter blow by fate; they both are taken to worlds pole apart from their dreams.

The girl ends up becoming a cabaret superstar, whereas, he becomes a guapo, the man who would face the destiny and conquer his love at any cost.

The first musical performance of TANGUERA was given in the very same region, where the story is also based, that is Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was staged at Teatro El Nacional venue, which is host to all the top-notch events in Argentine.

It occupied large numbers of dancers or actors on stage, approximately thirty in number, and managed to gather an audience crowd of more than 220,000 people. Thus, TANGUERA became the most extensively acclaimed musical by the critics and industry press agents in the year of 2002.

The superb musical soon received five awards from the Asociaci?n de Cronistas del Espectaculo de la Argentina which translate into English as Association of Argentine Entertainment Industry Reporters.

The musical won an award for Best Musical, another one for Best Production, then for Best Choreography, along with the award for Best Lighting and Best Female Performed. In addition to this, one of the most famed newspapers of Argentine, known as Clarin, also awarded TANGUERA for the Best Musical of 2002.

TANGUERA had spread the Tango-fever throughout the world since it has gotten famous. The musical has been appreciated by the toughest and most challenging critics from all over the world, and has been staged in various countries, cities and venues situated in different parts of the world.
