The producers of Le Grand Cirque including Tim Lawson, claim that it is the upcoming big thing to entertain its viewer as well as Cirque du Soleil. The show opens with a man in a white tie, top hat and tails, linking the act and trying to engage the audience. The action that follows includes hoop-divers, plate spinners, contortionists, straps and silk loops, bungees and Chinese poles. These are followed by hula-hoops, a feet-to-feet running action in a Risley duo, a bicycle number and a captivating female hand balancer who will spend enough time on one arm till she started switching between the two while making small jumps.
 
Each portion of Le Grand Cirque is marked with dancing girls parading about in various outfits. The show features the Globe of Death that holds three daredevils as they ride motorbikes and race about inside the giant cage. The Cirque’s cast keeps moving closer to the audience from above and the three sides of the stage. The Giant Swing is then presented which brings along performers that catapult high above into the ceiling, while at the same time a bunch of fire breathers blow huge fireballs over the audience. The show features one of the best aerial artists in the world, David Bonneville, who demonstrates his incredible physical strength in Extreme Aerial Straps. The show already broke records in 2008 and 2009 when it performed in front of an audience of more than eighty thousand. Courier Mail has very judiciously pointed out that the show creates ‘jaw dropping stunts’, ‘spectacular visuals’, ‘death defying acrobatics’  in the most ‘sumptuous costumes’.
