A brainchild of Daniel Wood, Silence in Solitude was initially founded as a solo project in 2008. The solo effort began in Daniel's home studio after an upsetting separation between him and his daughter left a deep hole in Daniel's heart. The separation began tolling its weight on Daniel who needed an emotional outlet to release his growing distance and pain. After fighting mental and physical stress, Daniel eventually started using music to relieve his depression. Though the music was heartbreakingly inspired, it reflected Daniel's misery of questioning fate while struggling with the emotional situation. In 2010, Daniel managed to produce a couple of songs and released them on the internet. The response from the listeners was overwhelming and the amount of requests to experience Daniel's powerful music live motivated him to push his creative endeavors up a notch.  In early 2011, auditions to recruit band members were held by Daniel. By the end of the auditions, the lineup was filled by exceptionally talented musicians including "Jeremy Gervais" on bass guitar, "Robbie Kincaid" on drums and percussion, "Ryan Waddell" on vocals and "Tylor Charoenpajana" on rhythm guitar. After the lineup was complete, the band worked on songs and rehearsed consistently for several months. Silence in Solitude made their highly anticipated debut stage appearance in January 2012 in front of an eager audience. The highly successful live performance paved way for several more shows and tours across the country. In the spring, Tylor, the band's rhythm guitarist, parted ways, making the group a four-member band. The band continues to produce magical music while building a wide base of fans through their vibrant live acts.
