Stefan Kendal and Skyler Austen Gordy, born in 1975 and 1986 respectively, quite literally came into the world with silver spoons in their mouth, especially with regards to their future musical careers. Stefan's father is none other than the Motown music mogul Berry Gordon whose label's iconic Motown Sound blasted out through the likes of The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson. Growing up in the affluent LA neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, the LMFAO duo did indeed party all through their childhoods and five years into the new millennium, decided that they wanted to take their rollicking shenanigans to the next level. Already having asserted their party aspirations via their debut hit single, "I'm in Miami Bitch", LMFAO sang "La La La" and did "Shots" with Lil Jon till they hit the roof with "Party Rock Anthem" in 2011. The monster smash hit single, from LMFAO's sophomore album Sorry for Party Rocking released the same year, topped the charts all over the international market, including back home in the US on Billboard's Hot 100 and was certified five times platinum. Featuring a dancing "Jesus" and a foam satanic horned hand, as well as the devilishly enticing Lauren Bennett, the video for "Party Rock Anthem" blends religious and occultist elements so as to imbed subliminal messages, "Obey" being a case in point. Yet, the revelers fed upon the dark energy emanating from the track and hailed it as their "party rock mantra".
 
You may have heard about holy water wasting away evil entities such as vampires, werewolves and demons as if they were jello. However, "holy champagne" is just another ball game, and seems to be just what the hidden masters ordered in LMFAO's "Champagne Showers". With the single garnering significant fame on the already speeding LMFAO soundwagon, the video touts that "Jesus" and his "holy champagne" may vanquish the vile hybrids but it's the "horned god" that everyone will eventually bow down to. However, it's with their raunchy faux apology "Sexy and I Know It" that LMFAO truly laughed at their symphonic sycophants when the track hit the top of Billboard's Hot 100 and clocked the most downloads on iTunes charts. The requisite album itself attained a peak position of 5 on Billboard 200 and besides going gold in the US, has gone multiplatinum in Australia and Canada.
 
Citing their influences as ranging from James Brown, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin to Michael Jackson, what with RedFoo sharing a nephew with the late King of Pop, LMFAO has toured all across the world, from Cancun and Florida to Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia.
