Cody Simpson was only twelve years old when he started recording songs and putting them on You Tube. His initial performances included Jason Mraz's I'm Yours, The Jackson 5's I Want You Back and Justin Timberlake's Cry Me a River and Senorita. He also wrote his own songs, including the hit, One. Grammy nominated producer, Shawn Campbell came across his videos and helped the young artist start his professional career. Simpson's official debut came via his single, iYiYi, which was released in May 2010. His second single, Summertime, came out the same year in September, followed by his participation in the 'Campfield Tour 2010'.
In September 2011, Cody Simpson released another song, Coast to Coast, which climbed to number twelve on the Billboard 200 and sold more than 24,000 copies. Simpson's debut studio album, “Paradise”, came out in October 2013.
The seventeen year old heartthrob has two studio albums and four extended plays in his repertoire so far. He has also bagged a number of nominations and prestigious awards, including 2012 Kids' Choice Award, Nickelodeon Australian Kids Choice Award and MTV Europe Music Award. Renowned for his live performances, this star is coming to your city for a fun filled concert. Do not miss it.
The duo Emblem3 will be sharing the stage with Cody Simpson. Consisting of two brothers, Wesley Stromberg and Keaton Stromberg, the pop rock band came to prominence after finishing fourth on the second season of the television competition, The X Factor USA. Their official debut came in July 2013, with the single, Nothing to Lose.
The two brothers started performing at a young age. Wesley performed along with Drew Chadwich in middle school while the nine year old Keaton worked on his home recordings at that time. The first project the two brothers did together was an album, “Bite Your Lip and Take It”. Back then they used to call themselves 'The American Scholars'. Drew also joined them again and after going through several name changes they took on the title Emblem3. The trio started performing in the local music arenas and quickly gained a reputation for being an entertaining live act. In 2012, the band auditioned for The X Factor USA with an original song, Sunset Blvd, written by Drew.
During their time on the show, Emblem3 performed several songs and gained appreciation every time. Some of their notable performances include Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, Every Little Thing She Does by The Police and Forever Young by The Monkees. In December 2012, the group started recording their debut album, “Nothing to Lose”, which was released in July 2013 and produced the hit singles, 3000 Miles and Chloe (You're the One I Want). Following the release of this album, Emblem3 embarked on their 'Goin' Back to Cali Tour and also performed as opening acts for Selena Gomez on her 'Stars Dance Tour'.
These two delightful music acts will also be accompanied by other artists including the duo MKTO in the upcoming concert. This is your chance to watch them live in concert. Get your Cody Simpson Emblem tickets before they are all sold out.
