Caliban is a five piece metal core band that has its origin in Germany.The band has to its credit of having released six studio albums till date.They rocked the world by their heavenly performance.

The hard and endless efforts made by the band with the successful release of their six albums have made them reside in the musical world till date. Living under the banner of Never Again, Caliban was formed in the year 1997 in Germany.

Craving for a rapid success, just after six months of playing together, the band recorded their first two songs for a demo, which were never released due to flaws experienced, and also for the reason that these songs were not a part of any record labels.

With several attempts made finally the band made a record deal with a record company as the company was the first to offer them a great deal. After a year of their birth, the band songs came out in the summers of 1998.

For further promotion of the songs, the band also made do with several shows performing all over Europe with a few support shows. The outcome of the performance was a positive one as the band started gaining fame.

Also it was after their European tour of 1999. Caliban band entered the studio to record their first full-length song which in turn received favorable response from the listeners and from the critics as well.

Their fame was not entitled to cd?s alone but famous magazines printed stories of the band and its potential work and success in the world of music.

The new millennium worked as a mascot for the band as much of the releases of their album immense with its starting. With success of their songs, touring opportunity made way towards them and in the year 2001, the band was offered the chance to tour Japan and perform in the Yokohama Arena there.

One trip followed the other and so started off their journey towards performing live in various countries. However, their trip to U.S was interrupted because of the tragedy that took place (i.e. the attack on the empire state building which changed the life of the people).

After a long awaited pause, Caliban band resumed their touring again. The band tour was a two in one package as touring new places not only was important for their fame but it also provided the band members to view new places every time.

One learns from their prior flaws. Such is the case of the band as well. With the release of its first two albums, Caliban made do with the minute mistakes and tried to have a perfecto third official release of the album.

This record was more melodic and harmonic than its predecessors. The third hit of the band got them a good deal in the year 2004 and started to record their fourth Album with the new record label.

So on and so forth was the journey of the Caliban band up till today. In fact, they are currently recording their new album which is due out early in the year 2009.

The band also happens to have staged a drama on the basis of the famous Shakespeare novel.Caliban are five German musicians who despite their young age are already seen as veterans of the European metal-core scene.

This drama staged made the Calibians a famous characters of the Shakespeare play which all the more added another feather to their cap.
