A show that features over 140 artists, magnificent sets and dresses accompanied by an original musical score is Radio City Christmas Spectacular New York. The event has duration of 90 minutes and combines songs, dances and humor with conventional scenes in spectacular stage environments. The Rockettes, an all-female troupe are the main stars of this show. The first version of this show was presented in 1933, and after that the show became a part of New York Christmas festivities. There are plans of it being running from November 13 to December 30. The show has matured over the years. Radio City Christmas had its first show prepared in December 1933 when another show was also produced. This happened one year after the opening of the Music Hall in 1932. The show has been created by a dynamic duo, stage producer Leon Leonidoff and designer Vincente Minelli. Erno Rapee and the Radio City Symphony were the first overture, followed by other singing and choreographic sequences. The Christmas show has been produced by Leon Leonidoff and Vincente Minelli including the choreography sequences also.
