Also known as DMB, the Dave Matthews Band is a US Rock Band that originated in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was formed in 1991 by Dave Matthews. Stefan Lessard, Carter Beuford and Leroi Moore later decided to join forces and wow audiences with great music. They incorporated various genres of music such as jazz, classical, soul, rock, bluegrass and hip hop into their music, attracting fans from all corners of the nation.
 
Dave Matthews Band released their first EP “Recently” in 1994, further down the road they released more albums such as “Under the Table Dreaming”, “Listener Supported”, “Stand Up”, and “Big Whisky and the Groogrux King”. These albums were a major success amongst audiences and took the Dave Matthews Band on a successful career ride. The Dave Matthews Band took away the Grammy Award and has been awarded with the NAACP Chairman’s Award.
