A country music group that has given fans of the genre with some absolute classics over the years is about to perform once again. Restless Heart have been among the most sought after country music groups of their era and a look at what they have done over the years clears the picture even more. They are now on tour and so book your Restless Heart tickets and catch them live in concert.
Restless Heart was formed by Tim DuBois, a producer who was based in Nashville. The idea was to incept a group that would be assigned the task of recording multiple tracks that DuBois had jotted down. Dave Innis, Greg Jennings, Paul Gregg, Verlon Thompson and John Dittrich were brought onboard to complete the group's first line-up. They didn't have an official name back then but that didn't stop them from being signed by RCA Records. Thompson, the lead vocalist left the group not too long after that. It was a bit of a blow to Restless Heart but they stuck together and Larry Stewart joined the ranks to take Thompson's place in the line-up.
The group hit the studio to work on their first album. It was a self-titled recording that hit music stores in the year 1984. The album was met with a lot of positive feedback and went as high as the tenth spot on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums charts. Songs like "Til I Loved You," "I want to cry" and "(Back to the) Heartbreak Kid" all turned out to make the top ten on the charts.
The band then went on to perform on tours to take their popularity to new heights. They made their way to the studios once again and came out with their next album titled "Wheels" in 1986. It turned out to be an even bigger success than its predecessor. Wheels featured songs like "Why does it have to be (Wrong or Right)," "That rock won't roll," "Wheels" and "I'll still be loving you." All four of these tracks were super hits that went to the pinnacle of charts. The album earned gold certification from the RIAA for its exploits.
"Big Dreams in a Small Town" hit the music stores two years later and didn't take long to make its mark. "A Tender Lie" and "The Bluest Eyes in Texas" both went to top charts. The album became the group's second straight gold album. The band's next album was titled "Fast Movin' Train" and it was released in the year 1990. The album was their fourth successive hit and the group's third straight gold certified release.
Restless Heart then released a collection of the greatest hits titled "The Best of Restless Heart" in 1991 and followed that up with "Big Iron Horses" next year. Both albums did very well on the charts to propel the group into one of the biggest country music attractions of their era. Following the release of their next album "Matters of the Heart" the band went on a hiatus. The band got back together and took to the stage once again in the year 2002. Multiple road trips followed and the group came out with "Still Restless" in 2004. It featured the song "Feel my way to you" which fared relatively well on the charts. The group have since then also released another live album titled "25 and Live."
Restless Heart are now closing in on their thirtieth anniversary and the plan to make it a special occasion. They are about to embark on an epic road trip that would give fans a chance to re-live the last three decades of this fabulous group. So this is your chance to book Restless Heart tickets and be a part of one huge and magnificent celebration live.
