The South Korea's greatest export, BTS also known as the Bangtan Boys has become a global phenomenon. The guys have millions of fans around the world and were also featured on Time's international cover as 'Next Generation Leaders.' In addition, the publication included the group in its list of the, '100 Most Influential People in the World.' They are now heading out on a North American tour.
Dominating the Asian Market
BTS took over the Asian market when they released their debut studio album, 'Dark & Wild' in 2014. Influenced by hip-hop, dance-pop and R&B style, the album charted at the second spot on the Gaon Albums chart and got them a Golden Disc Award. The record also made some buzz in the United States and reached at the third spot on the Billboard World Albums chart. During the same year, the band came out with their first Japanese studio effort, 'Wake Up.' The album contained the Japanese version of their hits, Boy in Luv, No More Dream and Danger.

In October of 2016, BTS became the center of attention once again thanks to their sophomore release, 'Wings.' It also collected positive reviews from different publications including Billboard which included the effort in its list of "The 25 Greatest K-Pop Albums of the 2010s."
A few months later, BTS spawned their second Japanese studio effort, 'Youth' which turned out to be a number-one hit in the country. It was also certified gold by the RIAJ and featured the Japanese version of their hits, I Need U and Run.
Making History
BTS accomplished something truly remarkable in 2018 as they scored their first number-one hit album in the United States entitled, 'Love Yourself: Tear.' This made them the first South Korean band to achieve this feat. This record found them incredible fame in the country, leading more fans to jump on the BTS bandwagon. It won them multiple accolades and was also included in the Rolling Stone's list of the, '20 Best Pop Albums of 2018.' During the same year, the guys spawned their third Japanese studio effort, 'Face Yourself' which went double platinum in the country.

In early 2020, BTS made big waves everywhere with the announcement of their next studio project. Their fourth studio album will be titled, 'Map of the Soul: 7.' It is scheduled to arrive in stores on February 21, 2020. As of now, the guys haven't shared the artwork or the track-list of their upcoming record. However, they are scheduled to unveil that soon.
