World Arena Tickets

The World Arena is a multi-purpose venue in the town of Colorado Springs of the state of Colorado. It is an 8,000 seat, stat of the art venue, dedicated to serve the local inhabitants as well as outsiders, with the best quality entertainment. The World Arena had been opened in the year of 1998, having the main venue, and the adjacent Ice Hall contains two practice rinks, one having the size suitable for NHL and the other one for Olympic-purposes. The stadium is town's most extravagant place for the world-class concerts and events, the performers are invited from different parts of the country, to delight the audience. The arena is also serving as a home ground for the Colorado College Tigers ice hockey team of the WCHA. There is a Broadmoor Skating Club, which is place of many of the great figure skaters, and part of it is the Broadmoor Speedskating Club. The arena had also served as a home to the US National Short Track Speedskating Team, till the year of 2007; the team had made a shift to Utah Olympic Oval. The World Arena is also a place, where the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts is located.

The Colorado Springs World Arena is definitely one of the premier sports and entertainment venues in the region, and one of the entire states. The arena is under the management and ownership of a non-profit organization, called CSWA. There are conducted number of sporting events, musical concerts, family shows, banquets, trade shows, graduations ceremonies, religious gatherings and other social events, in an ice hall adjacent to the main arena. Being a bigger venue, with the seating capacity of around 8,000 seats, the CSWA is definitely large enough to host the world-class events in a friendly and comfortable environment.

The building is a very suitable substitute for the Broadmoor World Arena, which was the former place of the BSC and CC hockey programs, the first ten NCAA hockey championships, were also held under the same roof. PBR had shifted to Colorado Springs, for the period of 2001 t 2005, had held a Bud Light Cup event at the same venue. But the movement of PBR headquarters to Pueblo after 2005 had stopped the production of such event. It is advisable to visit the World Arena, in a trip to the Colorado Springs, as it has got the real feel of a modern day monument.
