Paul Brown Stadium
Located in Cincinnati, Ohio namely the Paul Brown Stadium - a football stadium which is home of the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League - was opened on August 19, 2000. Resisting a current fashion, the city decided in opposition to selling the naming rights of the new stadium to a big company and named it after coaching legend Paul Brown, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame who established not only the Bengals in 1966, but also the Cleveland Browns in 1946.
What’s more is that every year in early April, in a very atypical use for a football stadium, an academic chess tournament is held in Paul Brown Stadium usually attracting nearly 700 competitors.
South of Third Street contiguous to the stadium is sold out with pre-paid season parking. North of Third Street ranges from $10-$20.
Metro will afresh be providing a "Jungle to Jungle" Bengals express transporting passengers from one of eight Park and Ride locations to the Riverfront Transit Center under Second Street. The featured Park and Ride is located at Jungle Jims International Market. Roundtrip service is $10 and one way $6 (return trip only).
TANK has the Southbank Shuttle through Cincinnati, Newport and Covington for $1. Parking is also accessible at the Bellevue Medical Arts Building, in the Newport on the Levee Garage, and in Covington at 5th & Bakewell, Kenton County Garage at 3rd and Madison, Willie's Sports Cafe, and the Embassy Suites Garage.
B&B Riverboats runs a $5 round-trip ride from Newport. Queen City Riverboats has a $3 round-trip ticket from Hooters and The Beer Sellar in Newport.
The stadium is roughly five blocks west of Great American Ballpark, bordered by Pete Rose Way on the north, Mehring Way on the south, Elm Street on the east and Central Avenue on the west. The southern border of the stadium is one block from the Ohio River, and will be linked to the riverfront with a community park.
