Details of World Cup Qualifier and the Ticket Luck value
Football is one of the most watched and followed-upon sport in the world. And when it comes to organizing world class international footballing events in the world, FIFA comes into play. FIFA is also responsible for organizing the Football World Cup that is held after every four years. The world cup features thirty two international teams from thirty two countries, competing for the grandest title of them all. The most recent edition of the FIFA World Cup took place back in 2010 in South Africa, and the upcoming edition is scheduled to be held in 2014 in Brazil. This will be the 20th overall FIFA World Cup and the second world cup that is to be held in Brazil. After doing so, Brazil will become the 5th country ever to host the FIFA world cup twice. The event was staged for the first in Brazil back in 1950.
2014 FIFA World Cup will also be the first World Cup since 1978 which is scheduled to be held in Southern America. However before the World Cup can take place, the number of teams is to be narrowed down to the number thirty one and that is done by World Cup Qualifier Matchups. World Cup Qualifier Matches puts teams of different nations at one field after which they compete for a spot in the World Cup. For the true football fans, the excitement kicks off as soon as the World Cup Qualifier Matches start off, and if you happen to be one of those enthusiasts then we have the right kind of World Cup Qualifier tickets for you.
The upcoming edition of the FIFA World Cup will put thirty two teams up against each other at the biggest stage of them all. Since one place has already been allotted to the hosts Brazil, the rest of the spots have to be earned by the rest of the teams. Even though they are the defending champions, Spain too has to earn a spot to be able to compete in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. For the remainder of thirty one spots, 207 teams from different nations and six different FIFA Confederations will be going through a strict and unforgiving qualification process. For most part, these qualifying matches take place between the teams within a certain confederation; however inter-confederation match ups do occur but they are not that often. For the upcoming edition of the FIFA World Cup, South Sudan was not eligible for the World Cup Qualifier because they became members of FIFA way after the qualifying process began. In addition to South Sudan; Bhutan Mauritania, Guam and Brunei was also not able to enter.
The qualifying process kicked off back in June 2011, and since then till January 7, 2013 only 120 teams have made it through. The number of teams will further shrink down to thirty one as the World Cup draws nearer. For the limited spots for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, eight hundred and sixteen qualifying matches will take place.
The six different FIFA Confederations are further allotted a certain number of teams that will come out of it to compete in world and not more than that. For that matter UEFA has been allocated with thirteen places, AFC with four or five places, CAF with five places, CONMEBOL with five or six places, CONCACAF with three or four places and OFC with no or one place. UEFA and CONMEBOL have yet to start their qualification process. UEFA’s qualifying match ups will kick off from March 22, 2013 while CONMEBOL’s will start on March 22, 2013. Amongst all the confederations, UEFA has the most number of teams in it. So football fans from all over the globe are in for a treat before the world cup kicks off.
