Kent State Golden Flashes is a member of the Mid-American Conference in the NCAA Division I FBS, with Joel Nielsen as the athletic director. The team's official colors are gold and navy blue. In its years of success, the program won 251 MAC titles, 85 team titles, seventeen tournament titles and eighty three All-American honors.
