This summer, Squamish is featuring famous names of the music industry such as Eminem, Bruno Mars and Arcade Fire on its stage. Other notable performers appearing in the festival include British pop rockers, Arctic Monkeys, alternative pop duo, Broken Bells and influential rap group, The Roots. The festival this year is prepared to entertain more than 35,000 guests per day. According to the president of Live Nation Canada, "We're taking it to the next level and delivering an event that is bigger and better than ever." Squamish Valley Music Festival has now expanded to Centennial Fields and has set four new and improved stages. Featuring the top hip hop, rock and electronic music artists, the festival aims to match a few of the elite music festivals of North America, including Chicago Lollapalooza, Indio's Coachella and Montreal's Osheaga.

Squamish Valley Music Festival will also bring to its stage Arcade Fire. The band has a huge fan following that even includes heroes like David Bowie and David Byrne.
