Declared as the must-see video game concert of the year, Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions features a series of wonderfully crafted orchestral arrangements accompanied by carefully timed visuals from classic and recent Pokemon video games.
Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions is based on musical scores drawn from the famous Pokemon video game series. Pokemon is the second-most successful video game based media franchise in the world. Launched in Japan in 1996, it is owned by The Pokemon Company International, which manages the various entertainment properties of the franchise outside of Asia. Their responsibilities include promotion, marketing and brand management of the animated TV series, the video game series, trading card games and the official Pokemon website.
The grand orchestral event, Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions is produced by the Pokemon Company International in collaboration with Princeton Entertainment and Live Nation Entertainment. Princeton Entertainment has built a reputation for itself as one of the premier concert producers around. Their concerts combine orchestra with performances by popular recording artists. Orchestra partners of the company include the New York Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic, Pittsburgh Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra and Baltimore Symphony, among others. The Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions will be played by nearly thirty orchestra companies in North America on its latest tour.
Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions is brought to audiences by the team behind the massively successful The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of The Goddesses concert series. Orchestrator Chad Seiter and producer Jeron Moore join hands once again to tackle another significant Nintendo franchise. The orchestra will be led by the prolific and highly talented orchestrator and video game music conductor, Susan Seiter, who was also a part of the renowned Zelda concerts.
At Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions, audiences are treated to a set list compiled from a range of Pokemon series including Pokemon Red and Blue, Pokemon Gold and Silver, Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and Pokemon X and Y. Some of the more famous arrangements included in the set list are "Pallet Town", "Born To Be A Champion", "Battle (Champion)", "Falling Ashes", "Friends, Fights and Finales" and many more.
Diehard Pokemon fans will thoroughly enjoy the orchestral arrangements throughout the show as the audience is taken on a musical journey through Pallet Town to Ecruteak City, through the Routes of Sinnoh to the Pokemon Center. The giant screen on stage will feature perfectly timed visuals from the game and cartoon series. Clips from various seasons of the anime will chronicle Ash's and Pikachu's journey as they learn and grow together. The concert will showcase some memorable tunes and visuals from the game and anime series and attempt to encapsulate the evolution of the franchise.
The live-orchestral concert will feature a surprise performance at the end as Laura Intravia sings along with the crowd for the last two performances. The all-time favorite of Pokefans, the Pokemon anime theme song will resonate across the venue as audiences sing aloud to possibly one of the most famous cartoon theme songs of all time. "Kiseki", the song from the Pokemon XY's end credits makes for a perfect conclusion to the concert with its beautiful lyrics paying tribute to family, friends and good times.
Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions has quickly joined the ranks of the leading video game-themed based musical performances. Deemed appropriate for audiences of all ages, the orchestral show will bring back fond memories of the cartoons and video game series. Probably one of the largest gatherings of Pokefans besides the Pokemon world championship event, the orchestral event will attract a range of Pokemon lovers creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
