John Pinette was born on 23^rd March, 1962 in Boston Massachusetts. He went to the Malden Catholic High School and started his professional career as an accountant. He always had a knack of cracking jokes and making people laugh which has turned him into one of the best stand up comedians of his era. John’s friends told him he was such a natural comedian that he should pursue a career in comedy instead of checking accounts. Upon persuasion by his friends and severe resistance by his family, John Pinette quit his job and took up being a comedian as a profession.
 
His first stand up comedy gig was at Boston’s famous Nick’s Comedy Stop. The club had an open mic one night event where anyone could get on stage, take up the mic and do any comedy routines they could to entertain everyone. When John Pinette grabbed the mic he brought the roof down with his performance. His natural talent soon made him the main attraction at the club but that was just the beginning of his dreams.
 
John moved to Los Angeles and got his big break when he was invited to tour with the legendary Frank Sinatra. That tour gave him the break he needed and thrust him in the mainstream media spotlight. John not only took the ball but ran with it and hasn’t looked back since. He has been a frequent guest on famous shows like The View and The Tonight Show.
 
John Pinette has described his own self as an inspiration for his comic routines explaining it is as I talk about my life, it is the funniest thing I can think of. He has had a successful career on TV, films, theater as well as being a brilliant stand-up comedian. John has also done comedy routines by impersonating the famous Elvis Presley, The Chipmunks, The Lord of the Rings’s Gollum and Marlon Brando as his role in the movie The Godfather. He has also performed as a signer most notably singing Over the Rainbow an Oscar Award winning song from the movie The Wizard of Oz.
 
His successful stints as a comedian got the attention of Hollywood and got him movies like Junior, Duets, Dear God, Simon Sez, Seinfeld etc.  He has also worked on stage in plays like Hairspray which was a musical. John Pinette has his own discography as well that contains hits like “Show Me the Buffet”, “I say Nay Nay”, “I’m Starvin’!”, “Making Lite of Myself” and “Still Hungry.” Almost all his comic routines are based on Observational Comedy which is regarded as one of the major foundations of stand up comic routines.
